REFLECTING ON INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY

Summer School for Students of Theology
22nd June - 4th July 2003

Using a programme of visits and meetings, drawing on IMSY's wide experience, the Summer School enables participants to reflect theologically on issues to do with work and the economy, and on the implications for ministry.

Click to see moreThe course is open to women and men from all the Christian traditions. In recent years it has benefited from the participation of students from the Swedish Church.

Accreditation

The Summer School is accredited as a Level 3 half module for the University of Manchester Degree/Diploma in Theology, and for 20 credits at Level 3 for the Diploma in Theology of the University College of Ripon and York St John.
For students enrolled in these courses further tutorial support is provided at the end of the course.

Sunday 22nd June (arrive 6pm) to Friday 4th July (depart noon)

Location

IMSY Centre, Napier Street, Sheffield

Cost

Resident £260 includes all meals
Non resident £155 includes weekday meals
Course papers, overheads and travel expenses on course visits will be covered for all students.
The fee does not cover travelling expenses to and from Sheffield, nor between family homes and the IMSY Centre.

On the enclosed form, which can be downloaded and printed. Please fill it in and post it to the address shown on the form, to be received by February 28th 2003, with a booking fee of £25, so that arrangements can be made for the visits to the steelworks and other places of work.
