We give thanks for storekeepers, despatch and
other clerks,
for the people whose work, unseen,
keeps things in order.
"If
you ask for a fish,
would he give you a snake?"
No.
And so,
toilet paper and Toblerone,
wood and steel
are in places where they are
wanted.
We pray for people in these jobs
who have to adjust to new
computer systems.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
