God our Father, you are the weakness and the power of love which motivates human endeavour for good. May your influence be with those who strive for excellence in all our theatres and places of entertainment. Bless those involved in the entertainments industry, that their activities may be carried out in the spirit of love and friendship and that they may give enjoyment and pleasure to many. May we grow in knowledge of ourselves and of the human condition and so come to greater knowledge of you, our God, who share in our humanity through your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
